Stones have a remarkable kind of energy. Every stone has many metaphysical properties. It makes no difference if the stone is faceted, polished, cut, mounted or left in the raw, the properties remain the same. There are many books available as well as websites to explain what these properties are. This site has most stones, no one site or book has them all...which is why I have 3 books and sometimes still end up looking on the net! Usually between the two I can find what I need.

Also watch for rock shows in your area. They are all year round all over the country. They always have a huge array of stones from all over the world.
